Job Description

Join our dynamic global team for an exciting opportunity as a Data Analyst Intern in our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) department for Fall 2025. This internship offers a unique chance to apply your analytical skills to real-world M&A scenarios, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will gain exposure to a wide range of acquisition activities, including those related to Real Estate and Architecture sectors. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets related to potential merger and acquisition targets, with a focus on real estate and architecture industries.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation and due diligence processes.

  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to present findings to senior management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.

  • Support the development of analytical tools and methodologies to enhance M&A processes.

  • Participate in market research and industry analysis to identify potential acquisition opportunities.

  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.

  • GPA between 3.2 – 4.00 (Preferred 3.4 or above).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, or SAS.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Experience with SQL and database management.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

  • Basic understanding of financial markets and M&A processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Previous internship or academic project experience in data analysis is preferred.

  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions concepts is a plus.

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The hourly for this Internship is anticipated to range between $45.00 – $78.00. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and Tuition Reimbursement, in addition to other programs and perks.
