Agronomy Intern - Summer 2025

This role will provide hands-on, in-depth experience in the collection and analyzation of agricultural data. Join our team to gain real-life experience in cutting-edge crop management, sustainable agricultural practices, and real-world problem solving!

Primary Responsibilities

· Organize field testing to include gathering of materials, marking rows, staking plots, mixing treatments, and tagging plants

· Collect study-related observations and data

· Organize data for statistical evaluation

· Travel to regional field plot locations for data and picture collection

· Assist with lab preparation of test samples

· Special projects as needed

· Other duties as assigned

· Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Weed Sciences, or similar degree program required

· Experience conducting fieldwork in agricultural or environmental research preferred

· Familiarity with laboratory protocols, including sample processing and equipment handling

· Willingness to obtain a Plant Pesticide Applicator certification

· Excellent organizational skills

· Willingness to travel (min. 50%)

· Proficiency in standard office software 

· Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, for several hours at a time

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
