Description

This internship provides a comprehensive learning environment tailored to building essential program management skills. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting cybersecurity program/project management activities, including the development and maintenance of programmatic documentation, project schedules, and coordination efforts. They will enhance their organizational and communication skills by participating in meetings, tracking initiatives, and creating detailed documentation. By assisting in the development and maintenance of risk, issue, decision, benefit, and lessons-learned, interns will deepen their understanding of key project management methodologies and practices.

Collaboration with program managers and team members will foster professional interaction skills, while exposure to real-world projects will enable interns to contribute meaningfully to project progress. This opportunity equips interns with practical knowledge and competencies, preparing them for future roles in program and project management within the cybersecurity field.

  • Support cybersecurity program management office efforts, development, and maintenance of programmatic documentation, project management, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Participate in client meetings to track initiatives, manage program documentation, and create meeting minutes.
  • Assist with developing internal and external stakeholder presentations, briefings, and data inquiries.
  • Assist the program managers in setting up and maintaining various logs including risks, issues, decisions, benefits, and lessons learned.
  • Assist in developing, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Cybersecurity
  • Interact effectively with the team in a professional manner.
  • Support other team members during work to further the project's progress.

Qualifications

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws.
