Distribution Intern ensures the day-to-day activities of the Oetker Collection Distribution department with specific responsibilities for coordinating and implementing tasks related to distribution.
The Distribution Intern maintains projects in good order and ensures the implementation of the global strategy to maximize business opportunities in specified areas.
- Participates in the development and implementation of the distribution strategy for new hotels.
- Effectively carries out delegated projects and assignments.
- Contributes to the Collection reporting data by preparing monthly business reports on the origins and segmentation of business.
- Provides data (benchmarking).
- Data support for the distribution and marketing team.
- Business case reviews.
- Ensures the management of daily administrative activities within the department (emails, updates, reports, presentations...).
- Assists in the definition, implementation, and follow-up of systems and tools.
- Coordinates clear communication between the marketing department and shared services.
- Ensures brand compliance across the Collection.
- Distributes revenue updates on a monthly basis when necessary.
- Forecasting – tracking trends, providing accurate forecasts for future business and operational considerations.
- Provides a comparison between forecasts and actuals.
- Produces daily and weekly reports.
- Be aware of the market and conducts competitor analyses.
- Possesses knowledge of necessary software (Microsoft Office Suite, understanding of PMS and RMS, booking engine setup, etc.).
- Demonstrates curiosity for new technologies and their potential benefits.

- Meets deadlines and manages time efficiently.
- University level education or hotel experience with prior yield/revenue management and reservations experience.
- Fluent in English and French, with German being a plus.
