EcoPath Participant

Our new EcoPath College Connection program will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays for 3 weeks this spring. During the first week, there will be one Monday meeting serving as an orientation day for students, as well as a closing ceremony on the last Saturday of each cohort.

Applicants must be age 16yr-19yr, and eligible to work in the United States. Participants' daily schedules will blend virtual resources and curriculum, with a focus on college readiness and preparation. The EcoPath experience is unique, and can create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Participation in this program includes a stipend of $75 per week.

Term: 

Cohort 1- Serving predominantly West coast, will take place on March 3rd-March 22nd, Wednesdays (5:30pm-7pm PST) and Saturdays (9am -2pm PST). 

Cohort 2 - Serving predominantly East coast, will take place on March 31st-April 19th, Wednesdays( 5:30pm -7pm EST) and Saturdays (9am -2pm EST).

• Resume Building 
• Networking
• Time Management 
• Note taking/ Study skills 
• Internships
• Self care/managing mental health 
• Green Careers
• Environmental education

Eligibility:

• We encourage all youth to consider applying for YCP positions.
• Must be at least 16 by the beginning of the program. and may not be older than 19 years by the start of the program 
• Must be able to fully commit to program dates and meeting times
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the assigned work with or without reasonable accommodations
• Have a valid U.S. Social Security number or have applied for a valid Social Security number by start of program
• Must be able to obtain a work permit if needed
• Must be a citizen of the United States or permanent resident
