We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our finance team and support critical financial modeling, bookings, revenue forecasting, cash management, and quote-to-cash process.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer and Chief-of-Staff to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting while supporting various aspects of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Financial Modeling: 

  • Assist in creating and maintaining financial models to forecast bookings, revenue, and cash flow. 
  • Analyze historical financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

Bookings and Revenue Analysis: 

  • Work on tracking and analyzing bookings and revenue data. 
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand customer contracts and their financial implications. 
  • Support the business rules development to establish consistent bookings reports and revenue recognition. 

Cash Management: 

  • Assist in monitoring and managing cash flow by tracking accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other cash-related activities. 
  • Help prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity.

Quote to Cash Support: 

  • Support the quote-to-cash process by working with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards. 
  • Identify opportunities to shorten the time to invoice and accounts receivables. 

Financial Reporting: 

  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Communicate financial performance and key metrics to the finance team and other departments.

Ad-hoc Projects: 

  • Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial analyses as needed. 
  • Assist with research and data collection to support strategic financial decisions.


Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
