Job Overview:
 
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our dynamic legal team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for law students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a corporate legal environment. The Legal Intern will assist with a variety of tasks, including legal research, drafting documents, and supporting the team with ongoing projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal issues, including regulatory matters, case law, and industry-specific regulations.
Document Drafting: Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, memoranda, and other legal documents under the supervision of senior legal staff.
Compliance Support: Help ensure the company’s compliance with relevant laws and regulations by assisting in the review and update of internal policies and procedures.
Case Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining case files, legal documents, and records.
Client Interaction: Participate in meetings with clients or other departments to understand legal needs and provide support.
Administrative Duties: Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.
Project Support: Contribute to special projects and other tasks as assigned by the legal team.
 
Qualifications:
 
Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (JD) program or recent graduate from an accredited law school.
Strong interest in corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, or other relevant legal areas.
Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is a plus.
Familiarity with legal terminology and basic legal concepts.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
