Salary Exempt:  $15 per hour                       

Schedule:   Monday - Friday PT (no more than 20 hours per week) Flexible schedule 

Location: Remote

Candidates can reside in one of the following states:  AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, SC, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI

The Assistant Director of Admissions works closely with the Director of Admissions and Recruitment to attract and enroll qualified applicants. This position is responsible for implementing strategies for recruiting qualified applicants for all MyComputerCareer's programs.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Contributes to successful social media strategy that builds on our audience base

  • Develop creative content for social media that is on-brand

  • Create engaging Instagram stories

  • Knowledge and regular use of social platforms

    • Facebook

    • Instagram

    • Linkedin

    • Twitter

    • TikTok

  • Creating content (copy and graphics) that works for different social platforms 

  • Suggests and implements new features to develop brand awareness

  • Remains up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, designs tools and applications 

  • Be available to contribute to the blog

  • Help with research that will contribute to social media posting; review responding; and alumni success

  • Identify & execute on real-time trends & translate to social media opportunities.

  • Generate ideas for unique content by researching accounts of competitors



Qualifications Needed:

  • Interest in and ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Self-driven

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with PC/Internet technologies including social media platforms

  • Can work efficiently and effectively on a deadline

  • Canva, Photography, Wordpress and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus

  • Baseline knowledge of video creation and editing

  • Major/Minor in : Marketing, Design, Communications
