Medical Informatics Engineering (MIE) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Nursing Intern. This internship provides valuable exposure to both administrative and clinical aspects of electronic medical records (EMR) in a real-world healthcare technology environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthcare, eager to learn, and ready to support a dynamic clinical and administrative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customer success team members with documentation review and clinical data entry in the EMR system

  • Support administrative functions such as scheduling, data collection, and file organization

  • Participate in quality assurance tasks and process improvement initiatives

  • Observe and assist with user support and client communications related to EMR workflows

  • Conduct research and prepare summaries on clinical or regulatory topics as needed

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support various operational initiatives

  • Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Actively preparing to start an accredited nursing program (or recently accepted into one)

  • Strong interest in healthcare and clinical technology

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and company information

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Comfortable learning and working within EMR systems
