Responsibilities: The Look Good Feel Better intern will support the following functional areas:
Program Operations, Customer Service, and Salesforce Database Administration (50%)
Support the Look Good Feel Better program volunteers, hospital partners and database, including:
- Manage customer service requests through email and support tickets: responding promptly and carefully to volunteer/other constituent questions, and redirecting requests and seeking supervisor guidance as appropriate
- Provide reports to hospital partners by consolidating registration records on Excel
- Prepare and schedule bimonthly email invitations for upcoming workshops
- Order materials for Look Good Feel Better patients and hospital partners
- Track monthly LGFB Virtual Workshop Attendance via Zoom
- Provide quarterly report reviews of Participant Evaluations
- Update training materials and system documentation as appropriate
- Other database and program support as requested and other general administrative support
Marketing, Communications and Special Projects (40%)
Support Foundation marketing and communications content and campaigns under direction of Marketing/Communications Senior Specialist, including:
- Help produce video (TikTok and Reel) social media content
- Write compelling social media content across platforms (LinkedIn, IG and Facebook)
- Track and manage monthly social media and website analytics
- Suggest timely/relevant content based on social media trends and cancer awareness dates/months
- Write compelling blog posts for LGFB website
- Respond to social media comments and direct messages
- Contribute design support using Canva
- Research for various Foundation projects (including compiling assets, etc.)
Finance and Fundraising (10%)
Assist Foundation staff in routine operations, such as:
- Process donation data entry, and acknowledgements
- Assist with invoice processing as needed
- General administrative support for budget and fundraising activities/events
Qualifications:
Strong candidates will be highly proficient with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and adept at quickly learning new technology - Salesforce or CRM database experience, and digital marketing experience a plus. Must have a good eye for detail, excellent communication and writing skills, and be able to work independently. Should have relevant work or volunteer experience. Marketing or Communications background and/or course work are strongly encouraged. Spanish language skills a plus.
Candidates must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program. Hours are flexible but must be worked during a regular weekday (9 am – 5:30 pm EST), Monday – Friday during Sep. – May. Time commitment is 15 hours Fall/Spring Semesters, and up to 15 hours May-August. The pay is $17.50/hour.
