Job Description

Primary Function of Position
This role will report to the Genesis Product Marketing Intern within the Professional Education and Program Services (PEPS) organization with the primary focus being to support the launch of a new Customer Training program. The successful candidate will contribute to the program launch planning, execution, and evaluation.

Essential Job Duties

  • Contribute to Executive Leadership Status Updates: Prepare executive summaries and presentations to inform leadership of program status.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support execution of the program launch plan
    • Partner with commercial organization to initiate site selection and launch planning logistics
    • Partner with Corporate Marketing to develop pilot communication kit (literature, media) training material and field sales and customer communications to support sales and the customer and address any product line issues.
    • Develop and provide product line training and support to commercial teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Support program evaluation:
    • Conduct Voice of Customer research to support launch planning and messaging
    • Collect and aggregate data to summarize program success and areas of improvement

University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:

  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program after the internship.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.

Required Education and Training

  • Current enrollment in Business Administration degree-seeking program at the Master’s level

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Product management or marketing experience in medical products or services
  • Market research experience
  • Product marketing experience

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay (paid at an hourly rate), benefits, and a housing allowance. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including relevant skills and experience for this internship, degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc), year in school, and location. The hourly rate is prorated against the intern program salaries listed and total program compensation will be based on internship duration.
