Job Overview
The National Gridiron League is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and audience engagement within the sports industry. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about football and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media channels.
  • Research trending topics and compile data to inform content strategy.
  • Assist in scheduling and publishing posts using social media management tools.
  • Support the team in analyzing social media metrics and generating reports on performance.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to align social media strategies with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for sports, particularly football, is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, or related field. Knowledge of social media management tools is a plus.
