Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Virtual Reality Developer Intern to join our team.
- Located in Huntsville, AL.
Job Description:
- Test and evaluate specific systems with a team of engineers.
- Assist with creating 3D models and environments using CAD software or modeling software.
- Configure and integrate virtual reality hardware.
- Design intuitive user interfaces and interaction tools.
- Identify and debug erroneous behavior.
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and actively pursuing a BA/BS Degree.
- Must have experience with game engine development (Unity Engine, Unreal Engine, Godot, etc.)
- Must demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Must be efficient and detail oriented.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine, preferred.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Autodesk, Blender, etc.), preferred.
- Experience using C++, C#, Java, or Python, preferred.
- Familiarity with XR hardware (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality), preferred
- Familiarity with repository management tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jira, etc.), preferred.

- Occasional travel- less than 10%

Physical Requirements
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
