Position Overview: As a Financial Planning Intern, you will gain valuable insights into the financial planning process, assist with client management, and support the development of financial plans. This internship is an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial plans, including data gathering, analysis, and plan creation.
- Support client management activities, including scheduling meetings, maintaining client files, and handling client communications.
- Research financial products, investment strategies, and market trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience or coursework in financial planning is a plus.
