Position:Ā Intern, Systems Infrastructure and Business Intelligence

Ā 

Overview:Ā We are seeking a motivated intern to support the implementation of Microsoft Fabric and integrate APIs with GPM Plus and other software solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in cloud data infrastructure, API development, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data engineering, cloud technologies, and software integration.

Main Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of Microsoft Fabric to establish a strong analytical foundation for corporate business intelligence.
  • Support data integration efforts by developing and managing API connections between GPM Plus, Microsoft Fabric, and other enterprise software.
  • Work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless data transfer and accessibility for performance reporting.
  • Develop and test Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging Microsoft Fabric for real-time analytics.
  • Troubleshoot data pipelines, API connectivity, and system performance issues.
  • Document technical procedures, best practices, and API integration workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business data needs and provide solutions.Ā

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelorā€™s or Masterā€™s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or other cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or PowerShell for data manipulation and automation.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, or Synapse Analytics.
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
