About the Internship Program: ProGineer is excited to announce an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Development/Backend Trainee to join our team. This internship program is designed to provide tailored training opportunities aligned with our company's needs, offering a hands-on experience in software development.

Role: Internship Trainee - Software Development/Backend

Focus Area: Software Development

• Gain practical experience in setting up and utilizing the Linux environment, including scripting (bash/Python), Git, PuTTY, and text editors.
• Learn and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and fundamentals of database design.
• Get familiar with project management tools such as Smartsheet and Jira, with a focus on the Development Life Cycle.
• Receive tutorials on Cassandra and foundational SQL concepts using online resources.
• Participate in API integration tasks, including making POST requests and collaborating with external APIs, particularly related to REST APIs currently in development.
• Engage in coding challenges through LeetCode courses and practical assignments.
• Prepare for job interviews through mock interview sessions and technical interview strategies.

• Currently a final-year student at University, majoring in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts and a keen interest in software development.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new skills in a real-world environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
