Job Description

Her Campus Media is seeking a creative, organized, social media savvy, and detail-oriented Pinterest and Social Media Intern for the spring 2025 semester. This intern will focus on Pinterest for the Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University bands, creating pins to drive to website content, video pins, and scheduling existing social content to Pinterest. This intern will also spend time testing new Pinterest features and implementing them into HCM’s social strategy. . 

In addition to Pinterest, this intern will assist with any social media special projects across Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University’s social channels, including social media franchises and social media campaigns to support any editorial launches. The person will occasionally serve as one of the “faces” of these three brands, creating video content for Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram. 

The Social Media & Content Creation intern will also research the latest social media trends, brainstorm ways to adapt popular memes to fit the Her Campus, College Fashionista, and Spoon University audience, and schedule posts across platforms, among other tasks.

Qualifications

  • Current college undergraduate

  • Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills

  • Working knowledge of all Google for Work tools

  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic

  • Strong video editing skills and comfortability with being on camera

  • A love for social media and a pulse on the latest trends

  • A deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram, both from a creator and user perspective

  • An interest in creating pop culture, beauty, career, style, and lifestyle-related content

Internships are fully remote and available to current college students year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Interns must be able to receive academic credit and interns are paid a stipend. Hours are flexible.
