Project
We are looking for Senior DevOps specialist with good knowledge of CI/CD topics. The project is building ecosystem around our client's data lake. Those already working on the project primarily build solutions using Scala, Java, and Python. We support them by providing automation and pipelines for testing and deployment. The work is conducted in an agile setup with international teams, and English is the primary language used for communication.
What you'll be doing
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (JobDSL, Groovy)
- Implement configuration and automation mainly using Ansible
- Maintain and enhance scripts using shell/Python
- Build small utilities to assist with CI/CD pipelines
- Develop microservices using containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Improve the release process
- Serve as the contact person for discussing DevOps-related needs with external teams
- Troubleshoot deployment issues on the Hadoop platform
- Support developers and QA engineers
Expected competences and knowledge
- Good knowledge of Jenkins or other automation suite
- Knowledge of CM tools (Ansible)
- Good Linux knowledge
- Basic skills with Kubernetes (Linux containers)
- Familiar with Git
- Basic programming skills (Python, Groovy)
- Nice to have experience with AWS, Hadoop, SonarQube, PostgreSQL, Tekton, Spark
- Very good command of English
