This is a remote position.
Our Client is looking for a Software Developer and developing a comprehensive longitudinal, team-based model of primary care and service, with an upcoming go-live in September.
- The CLPC care model will utilize Intrahealth’s Profile EMR, a powerful and versatile electronic medical record system, to support VCH’s team-based care approach, including health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care.
The requested Comprehensive Longitudinal Primary Care Software Developer will support the development, testing, configuration and implementation of Profile EMR at one of the sites during the term of the contract which will include:
- Analysis, systems development and user readiness activities relating to the project and/or sustainment.
- Develop HL7v2 and FHIR integration mapping in Profile EMR and ensuring technical standards and guidelines are followed.
- Prepare application support documentation to support the automated workflow and clinical application.
- Assist with any development activities during the upgrade to the latest version of Profile EMR and activation of new features within the software.

1. Deliverable:
Develop and Deploy System Solutions
Description:
- Develop system specifications as well as develop and maintain application programs, modules, and reports.
- Configure and customize system solutions to meet the business requirements.
- Develop test plans and scripts and complete testing for system solution.
Measure/Outcome:
- System solution is signed off by business areas and appropriate Primary Care and Community Information Services team members prior to LIVE implementation.
2.Deliverable:
- Develop Standards and Guidelines, User Readiness & Support
Description:
- Update existing and develop new technical standards and guidelines.
- Apply PCCS standards and guidelines to all assigned tasks.
- Participate in the knowledge transfer of new change requests developments to team members, including trainers.
- Prepare user readiness, and application support documentation to support the automated workflow and clinical application.
- Provide on-site support for system users when necessary.
Measure/Outcome:
- All applicable standards and guidelines have been updated.
- All missing standards and guidelines have been developed.System users are trained and able to use the system solution for its intended purpose
